Arcads vs Creatify vs MakeUGC for Shopify DTC video ads
Three AI UGC tools show up in the same search. Each can put a synthetic person on camera. They do not start from the same input, and they do not publish prices in the same place. This page reads the directory record, then the public product and pricing pages. It is not a lab test. No scores, no ROAS claims, and no prices that were not on the page.

Who each is best for
Arcads
Best when the hooks are already written. You want talking-actor reads, a product still in an actor’s hands, and language variants. The dollar price is inside the app.
Creatify
Best when the Shopify product page is the brief. You want a URL-to-video first cut, an actor library, and a price you can read before you create an account. A free plan is published.
MakeUGC
Best when you may start from a script, a product URL, or a prompt, and you want the API on the plan you already pay for. Monthly, quarterly, and yearly prices are on the pricing page.

Pricing
Checked October 30, 2026. Amounts below are copied from the public page. They are not a quote to this directory. Credits, annual discounts, and trials change. The number at checkout is the one that applies. Where a figure was not on the page, the cell says check current pricing.
Arcads
Dollar prices: check current pricing. arcads.ai/pricing did not resolve to a pricing page on this check. The help center says current prices are on the pricing page in the app. It also says plans bill monthly or yearly, and yearly billing is 20% off.
The same article lists monthly credit pools: Starter 8,000, Creator 16,000, Pro 48,000, Scale 96,000, and Business 192,000. Enterprise is custom, through sales. Starter and Creator stop at the limit and reset each cycle. Pro, Scale, and Business roll unused credits over and bill extra usage on the next invoice. The article says Arcads tests pricing, so an account may see different rates or plan sizes.
The published trial is 72 hours and 1,000 credits, with the features unlocked. A card is required and is not charged during the trial. If you do not cancel, the Starter monthly plan starts. Cancelling during the trial ends access then. The dollar amount of that Starter plan is in the app.
Creatify
From creatify.ai/pricing. The annual switch was on, labeled “Save 30% on annual plan.” The higher figure is the monthly price. The lower figure is the per-month price shown for the annual plan. API prices on the page had no annual strike-through, so they are listed as the monthly amount only.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | — | 10 a month. FAQ: up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, with a watermark. |
| Standard | $15 | $10 | 55 a month |
| Pro | $55 | $38 | 280 a month |
| Max | $95 | $66 | 730 a month |
| Business, 1,500-credit step | $195 | $136 | 1,500 a month, the step shown by default |
| Business, 3,050 and 6,100 credits | Check current pricing | Check current pricing | The page shows the steps. Their prices were not in the page source. |
| Enterprise | Check current pricing | Check current pricing | The page says custom. |
| API Starter | $99 | Not shown | 500 API credits a month |
| API Pro | $299 | Not shown | 2,000 API credits a month |
MakeUGC
From makeugc.ai/pricing. The page source lists three billing periods. “Per month, billed yearly” is the yearly price divided across the year, not a second monthly plan. Every plan card says you can start for $1. The page does not say how many days that $1 lasts. Checkout shows the trial length and the renewal price.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly, per month | Yearly, per month | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $59 | $41 | $29 | 500 a month |
| Growth | $79 | $55 | $39 | 1,000 a month |
| Pro | $149 | $104 | $79 | Listed as 2,000–5,000 a month, on this one price |

Pros and cons
Arcads
Pros
- A script, a product image, or a prompt is the published start, which fits a team that already wrote the hooks.
- Language coverage is wide: 74 talking-actor languages, plus 176 translate options, per the FAQ.
- Resize covers 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9, and the help center says that resize uses 0 credits.
Cons
- Dollar prices are not on a public pricing page. Check current pricing in the app.
- The trial requires a card. After 72 hours the Starter monthly plan starts unless you cancel.
- The public help pages do not describe pasting a product URL as the brief.
Creatify
Pros
- URL-to-video is the product, and the pricing FAQ says Shopify product links are accepted.
- A free plan is published, at 10 credits a month.
- Monthly prices and the annual per-month prices are on the pricing page.
- 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 are documented.
Cons
- Free exports include a watermark. Paid plans list watermark removal.
- You spend credits. The page says higher resolution, longer clips, and premium models use more.
- Business steps of 3,050 and 6,100 credits are on the page without a price in the source. Check current pricing. Enterprise is custom.
MakeUGC
Pros
- You can start from a prompt, a product URL, a reference ad, or a pasted script.
- Every listed plan includes the API, 50+ languages, and watermark removal.
- Monthly, quarterly, and yearly prices are in the pricing page.
Cons
- Starter export quality stops at 720p. HD, 2K, and 4K start on Growth.
- Custom avatars start on Growth. Starter includes none.
- The $1 start does not publish its length. Pro lists 2,000–5,000 credits on one price. Enterprise is custom. Check current pricing for those.
How to pick
- Start from the input you have. A written script points to Arcads or MakeUGC. A product URL points to Creatify or MakeUGC.
- If you need a dollar figure before you create an account, read Creatify or MakeUGC. For Arcads, check current pricing in the app.
- If the feed needs 4:5 as well as 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9, Arcads’ resize article lists 4:5. Creatify and MakeUGC’s public docs name 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9.
- Run one tool on one SKU before you add a second. The UGC guide describes that week. A second vendor does not repair a hook, or a product the first render got wrong.
FAQ
Which of the three is best for a Shopify brand?
The useful split is the input, not a score. Creatify and MakeUGC both accept a product URL. Arcads’ help center starts from a script, a product image, or a prompt. None of the three is marked Shopify-native in this directory. You export a file and upload it to the ad account or the theme.
Do all three make avatar UGC?
Yes. Each publishes AI actors or avatars that can speak a script. Creatify and MakeUGC can also write a script from a product page. Arcads is built around a script you provide, and it can also start from a product image or a prompt.
What do they cost?
Creatify’s pricing page lists a free plan, then Standard at $15/month ($10/month on the annual plan), Pro at $55 ($38 annual), Max at $95 ($66 annual), and Business at $195 ($136 annual) for the 1,500-credit step. MakeUGC lists Starter at $59/month, Growth at $79/month, and Pro at $149/month, with lower per-month figures on quarterly and yearly billing. Arcads does not publish dollar prices on a public pricing page. Check current pricing.
Which languages and aspect ratios are published?
Arcads: talking actors in 74 languages, Translate Video with 176 language and accent options, and resize to 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, or 16:9. Creatify: 75+ languages, and 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9. MakeUGC: 50+ languages on each listed plan, and API docs that allow 9:16, 16:9, and 1:1.
Will these prices stay the same?
These figures are what the public pages showed on October 30, 2026. Plans, credits, and discounts change. Check current pricing at checkout. This page does not fill in a number when the vendor page did not show one.
Does a sponsored badge change this comparison?
No. This page is editorial. A Sponsored badge on a tool page means that vendor paid for placement. It does not score this table, and it does not invent a rating.
